During an enforcement activity by the National Traffic Police on Highway 444, the police measured a driver of a vehicle in the speed limit at an excessive speed of 207 km/h - instead of 90.
The investigation revealed that the driver, 19 years old from Taiba, was a 'new driver'.
Policewoman: "What is it, drivers racing today?… New on the road, you say we'll go 207 km/h instead of 90… What, are you trying to kill someone?""
Driver: "Can you do me a favor?""
Policewoman: "No... I did you a favor by stopping you so quickly... so you didn't have an accident...""
The driver was detained and brought in for questioning by traffic inspectors, at the end of which he was released under restrictive conditions, including house arrest, as well as a summons for a speedy court hearing.
The driver's license was suspended for 30 days.
