Ahead of the Likud primaries: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today (Wednesday) offered Attorney David Peter, a Channel 14 panelist and legal commentator, a realistic spot on the Likud party's list for the next Knesset. This was reported this evening (Wednesday) by Moti Castel.
As agreed at the end of a series of meetings, Netanyahu will be awarded nine shields up to 30th place on the list and another shield up to 35th place, so that a total of 10 shields are available to him.
The places indicated according to Channel 14 are: 2, 4, 6, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, and 29. The additional armor will probably be in place 35. Right now it looks like the districts will be in places 27, 28, 30, and 31.
Attorney Peter holds a bachelor's and master's degree in law, serves as a researcher at the Kohelet Policy Forum, and is identified with a conservative, right-wing, and liberal-economic worldview.

Peter is particularly notable for his harsh criticism of judicial activism, the law enforcement system, and the institution of the Legal Advisor to the Government, and is considered one of the most prominent voices in the Israeli media supporting legal reform.
His appearances before the High Court took social media by storm.
