
The murder case of the righteous Kabbalist Rabbi Amos Guetta zt"l in Netanya: The Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court granted the police request this afternoon (Wednesday) and extended the arrest of the murder suspect until July 8th.
Earlier, a gag order was issued until July 7th.
Upon learning of the shocking murder of Rabbi Amos Guetta, Rosh Yeshiva 'Rabbi Yitzhak Hai Taib' and rabbi of Libyan Jewry, Central District Commander Major General Amir Cohen conducted an assessment of the situation at the scene of the incident, assigned the investigation to Lt. Gen. Sharon, and expressed deep shock at the incident, along with condolences to the Rosh Yeshiva's family and many students.
After a manhunt that lasted about two hours conducted by detectives from the Netanya police station and police officers from the Sharon Police Department, the murder suspect, a Netanya resident in his 30s who was a follower of the Kabbalist, was arrested and taken for questioning.
The investigation continues.
