An indictment was filed against Reut Ben Haim, one of the leaders of the "Order 9" movement, after she blocked humanitarian aid trucks to the Gaza Strip.
According to the indictment, Ben Haim "created a commotion without reasonable cause, and in a manner likely to breach the peace.".
MK Yulia Malinovsky of Yisrael Beiteinu responded to the indictment: "This indictment against Reut Ben-Haim of Metz 9 should be filed against the prime minister and the cabinet ministers who approved and still approve this disgrace called humanitarian aid to Gaza. Shame and disgrace.".
Ben Haim, a mother of 8, led the activities of the "Order 9" movement for a long time against the introduction of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, claiming that the aid strengthened the terrorist organization Hamas and prolonged the war.
Protest action began on January 24, 2024, when demonstrators, led by 'Order 9', 'Mothers of the Fighters' and 'Forum Tikva', blocked trucks at the Kerem Shalom Crossing, the Nitzana Crossing, the Ashdod Port and on major roads.
Their goal was to prevent the transfer of aid in order to put pressure on Hamas to release the hostages.
