Arad police opened an investigation on Wednesday following a report of a violent fight in a neighborhood in the city of Arad - between secular and Gur Hasidim.

Upon receiving the report, the station's police arrived at the scene, acted quickly to restore order, and opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident and locate the suspects involved.

Today (Friday), four suspects, residents of the city of Arad, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the attack.

They were transferred to the police station for further investigation.

The riot began after a group of secularists blocked the vehicles of Gur Hasidim, who were planning to leave the city as part of a 'vehicle protest'.

According to a report on Channel I24, the blockade quickly ignited heated arguments, which soon escalated into mutual physical violence and severe clashes in the streets.

Subsequently, following reports of a mass brawl near a residential complex in the city, large forces of police and Border Guard soldiers were called to the scene. The forces began operating in the area with the aim of restoring public order, separating the protesters, and preventing further incidents of violence between the parties.

Footage from the scene shows exchanges of blows, chases, and severe pushing between dozens of people involved from both camps.
