According to the report, analysis of satellite images at the naval support base in Bahrain, which hosts the US Fifth Fleet, shows significant damage. According to the claims, the base's command headquarters was severely damaged, along with dozens of other buildings and two satellite communications terminals.
During the war, a limited number of servants remained at the base in Bahrain.
The Pentagon has not yet released any information about the damage, and the US military has announced that no one was killed at the base - and that the attacks did not significantly affect its operations.
The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) estimated in a report released Tuesday that the total cost of the Iran war was about $40 billion. This estimate included their calculation of $2.2 billion to $5.1 billion in damage to U.S. bases, based on structures identified as damaged.
