
As part of the police enforcement focused on the Dan region against offenses of hiring, transporting, and harboring illegal residents, Bnei Brak police officers are conducting increased activity in businesses and construction sites where there is concern that illegal immigrants may be present.
On Tuesday, an enforcement operation was carried out in the city of Bnei Brak, in conjunction with civilian bodies, during which the police located two illegal residents in a building materials business on Kahneman Street in Bnei Brak.
At another car wash business, near Highway 4, two additional illegal residents were located.
Substances suspected of being dangerous drugs were found in a nearby kiosk.
The investigation against the IDF officers has ended and the Tel Aviv District Police Prosecution Unit filed an indictment against them and a request to detain them until the end of the proceedings.
The business owners were questioned with a warning and released under restrictive conditions. The investigation is ongoing.
Following the investigation, the licensing officers took action to close the businesses, and the Tel Aviv District Commander signed an administrative closure order for 30 days - from yesterday, June 17, 26, until July 16, 26, inclusive. The investigation into the business owners is ongoing.
