Rescue organization vehicles were called to Bnei Brak following a report of a one-year-old baby girl who drank liquid used to burn coals.
The paramedics provided the baby with initial medical care, and she was evacuated in moderate condition for further treatment at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.
Senior rescue paramedic, Yossi Pesach: "When I arrived at the scene with the MDA ambulance I had, I found a one-year-old baby girl, after the parents said she had drunk a liquid used to burn coals.
""We provided her with initial medical treatment, and she was evacuated in moderate condition for further treatment in the shock room at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.""
The rescue organization reminds the public to be careful and to place hazardous materials in places away from children's hands, and in the original bottle, and not in a regular drinking bottle.
