Division 36 forces are working to deepen the clearing of the network of underground tunnels under the Beaufort Ridge that were designed and financed by the Iranian terrorist regime.
In one of the underground routes, where the terrorists who tried to escape and were eliminated from the air a few days ago were located, maps were found on one of the walls that illustrate the control of the area over the northern settlements.
An IDF spokesman said: "The IDF embarked on this activity in order to gain operational control over the area that poses a threat to the citizens of the State of Israel and to enable the destruction of the tunnel network.".
