In a festive and exciting event held in the Bnei Brak City Council Hall last weekend, the unique dimensions project of the "Mokiso" initiative was successfully concluded.
The project, which swept away thousands of Bnei Brak children, was born at the initiative of Mayor Hanoch Seibert during the days of the "Roar of Hari" war.
The original goal was to increase rights, mark goals and reach them using the Mukiso method - small steps in sequence, thereby adding light to the dark days and strengthening the resilience of children during a time when educational institutions were closed.
During the main ceremony, in which valuable awards were presented to hundreds of children who persevered in the campaign over the course of many weeks, the project's amazing and moving statistic was revealed: 8,752 good deeds and good deeds accumulated by the children in the areas of interpersonal relationships, helping at home, giving up, kind words, and maintaining a way of life that predates the Torah.
Municipality Director General Israel Eirnstein brought Mayor Hanoch Seibert's blessing to the event and linked the enormous achievement to this week's parashah, Parashah Shelah.
The CEO noted that when Moses sends the spies and wonders, "Is there a tree there or not?" he is not just looking for fruit trees, but rather seeks to teach a huge lesson in life through the growth of a tree. A tree does not become a giant in one day; it starts from a small seed in the ground that needs consistent watering, drop by drop, with patience and perseverance, until it grows into a magnificent tree that provides shade and fruit even when the storm outside has completely passed.
At the end of his remarks, Eirnstein emphasized that every small acceptance that the city's children took upon themselves - which may have seemed one-off at first - added up to thousands of drops that became a huge load of rights and the strongest roots of the city of Bnei Brak and the entire Jewish people.
He thanked the municipality's cultural department, which led the initiative with a strong hand, and the neighborhood coordinators who helped organize the closing event and awarded the children the prizes they rightfully deserve, while wishing and expecting that they will continue to take small steps, grow the fruits of good virtues, and fill the entire world with virtues and decency.
