Journalist Chaim Golditch, a reporter for 'Kan Hadassah', and photographer Ofer Edelstein were hit today (Thursday) by a Makhtazeit hose.
The incident occurred during the police effort to disperse a violent demonstration by the 'Flag' in Jerusalem protesting the arrest of 'renegades' for studying Torah.
As a result of the incident, Golditch suffered a minor injury to his face, and the team's photography equipment was damaged.
In footage from the scene, the Maktzait vehicle is seen driving and spraying a water hose vigorously and indiscriminately.
Golditch wrote on his X-network account: "After more than six years of demonstrations without harm, my Nahash arrived under the protection of a Makhtezite who is rampaging and spraying people who are not standing on the road and photographers.
""It definitely hurts like a hose in the face, but the humiliation from the joy to the disgust all around hurts more.".
Kan News reported: "The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation will contact the police demanding an investigation into the incident.".
