Ahead of the opening of the Knesset's summer session and in the shadow of the harsh decrees on the Torah world: Knesset members of the Degel Hatorah faction entered the residence of Maran HaGard Lando this evening.
The yeshiva head thanked the Knesset members for their activity and dedication to regulating the status of yeshiva students in the law that is being formulated, adding that this is what should have been done so far - and that "they will not be surprised by criticism of one kind or another.".
Regarding the advancement of the law in the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, in preparation for a vote in the committee and the plenary session, Maran HaGard announced that he will make his decision at the beginning of the week, with the opening of the summer session - after examining several additional issues.
