Fearing for his personal safety: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wore a protective cap under his coat this evening (Tuesday), during the torch-carrying ceremony on Mount Herzl.
The ceremony was attended by a large audience and broadcast live.
Security for the prime minister has recently been increased due to fears of Iranian retaliation.
To the dismay of the left, Netanyahu and his wife Sara were seen repeatedly on screen this evening during the ceremony.
