1. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insights from the new polls, after the launch of Ofer Winter's 'Amach Yisrael' party: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 There are hundreds of thousands who are interested in replacing politicians who were part of 'October 7th'. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 There are hundreds of thousands who trust Ofer Winter. Not necessarily because he is a former military man, perhaps 'despite' being a military man. Because of what he led, because of what he fought for all these years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 The accusations by elements in the right-wing bloc that the bloc will fall 'because of him' are a bit ridiculous. Maybe the bloc will fall because of Bezalel Smotrich's insistence on running to the end? Why is Smotrich allowed and Winter not allowed? Do veterans have the right of way on the political road?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Even if we believe that the polls by Shlomo Filber on Channel 14 and 'Direct Polls' on Channel i24 are accurate, the number of parties competing for the heart of the right-wing bloc voter does not make sense. Either they will get out of the way, or they will unite. And the appeal is to everyone, including Smotrich. Not just to the new contenders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 As the situation stands today - Eisenstein\/Lieberman\/Naftali Bennett are the next prime ministers. Now we will see the magician Netanyahu perform connections, mergers and deletions in his bloc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can we trust 'them'? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is, in essence, the million-dollar question that will accompany the elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Netanyahu is probably asking himself: Can he trust the list that was chosen? Will they go with me in any situation, even if I don't have 61? Can I trust Aryeh Deri, who in the campaign declares that he will only support Netanyahu, but a minute after the elections might squint for another government?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can trust Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich "blindly" - but what about Ofer Winter? He's still fresh out of the blue - and what if he squints into a government with Bennett-Lieberman and Eisenkot and deludes himself (as Ayelet Shaked deluded herself) into being a moderating and influential factor?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Haredi voter also asks himself similar questions: Can we trust Shas and United Torah Judaism that this time they will not be tempted by the temptations of the "deerskin throne," the Jobbi and the Tofinim, and will first take care of Torah students before jumping on the coalition bandwagon?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lieberman and Bennett voters are asking themselves: Can I be sure they won't close a coalition courtesy of Arab votes?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And last but not least, Likud voters, who are also not really sure: Can we trust Netanyahu that this time he will not prefer a government with Eisenkot and the Haredim over a full-fledged right-wing government? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, it's all a question of credibility. You can trust it or not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, you will know what will really happen in the political world, which has become synonymous with the world of lies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in my dreams - <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new Haredi party, sparkling with nylons. Young Knesset members, those who haven't yet been infected with the plague. They are also too fresh to fall asleep in faction meetings after a busy day of field trips. We'll call them 'Rani' and 'Yorem'. Two Haredim from a young and vibrant party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I began to survey them and their activities. I saw how Netanyahu invited them to his office, and how they excitedly marched like a Bar Mitzvah groom into the 'holy of holies' of Israeli politics; how he worked his magic on them with "Wait a little longer with the establishment of the MMA, it makes me a bit of a mess with Gafni and Deri," and how they, fascinated by the beauty of India, complied with his request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I saw them in Knesset committees, trying to approve a budget to establish a school with core curriculum, and how the veterans roll their eyes and arrange a coalition majority that will be torpedoed; I watched as they pulled their hair out and couldn't understand where they were getting it from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so, initiative after initiative falters, and what was is what will be. Nothing has changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in my dream, another election campaign arrived. Now new ones have emerged. 'Ehud' and 'Raanan'. They made videos, spoke vigorously, took the trouble to explain that the previous new party had not succeeded, so they-they would be the fresh news. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They even launched primaries - and garnered media coverage about corruption, double voting, fraud, and what not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I woke up from my sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remembered that this is how it is in politics, every four years new ones arrive with familiar promises. It's not that Torah Judaism and the Shas didn't have young MKs (Yinon Azoulay, isn't he young? Just an example), energetic (have you ever seen Uri Maklev erase line after line from the "Tza'tal-e" in his pocket after carrying out missions?) and fresh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is politics. It's a tough world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is difficult for the secular world to digest us Haredim, to understand our worldview, and the Shas and United Torah Judaism members of Knesset are forced to face a difficult reality, to say the least.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No one will be able to discover America. Just as I don't really think that the 'change bloc' will solve all of the country's problems (just as Bibi didn't), I don't think that a new Haredi party will really change anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discrimination will remain the same discrimination. Even the mice on the streets of Bnei Brak will remain the same mice.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"1.
