The Ministry of Transportation has allocated a budget of 24 million shekels to advance the project to expand Highway 4315, which connects Ness Ziona and Be'er Yaakov, in the section between the cemetery area and Margolin Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Highway 4315 is an important local traffic route for residents of Nes Ziona, Be'er Ya'akov, and the Tzamerot neighborhood of the colony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The road is used daily by drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, local transportation, and visitors to the cemetery, and is part of the access system to the Be'er Ya'akov train station and to residential and service centers in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project is designed to improve the level of service and safety on the 500-meter stretch of road, which suffers from delays and limited capacity during rush hours. The road expansion will allow for continuous, safer, and more comfortable traffic, strengthen the connection between Ness Ziona and Be'er Yaakov, and improve accessibility to the train station and nearby hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the project, a complete upgrade of the road route will be carried out, including widening the road, adjusting the road section to the expected traffic volumes, arranging drainage systems, adjusting existing infrastructure, installing new road lighting, safety railings, signage and road markings, alongside environmental development that will integrate into the existing space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project will complete a broader transportation initiative to improve connectivity between localities, encourage safe walking and cycling, and strengthen accessibility to public transportation, with an emphasis on the Be'er Ya'akov train station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project is currently in the final planning stages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preparations are currently being completed for the publication of the tender, which is expected to be issued during the last quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
