Mark Levin, a Fox News network broadcaster, issued a scathing attack on the political talks on Lebanon and Hezbollah last night (Tuesday), claiming that Israel is being excluded from discussions that directly deal with its security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Levin, whose words were quoted on Channel 7, wrote: "Has anyone ever heard of a negotiation in which the two countries most affected by it - Israel and Lebanon - do not participate at all?"\" <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to him, the emerging arrangement is being managed by Qatar, Pakistan, and the United States, with the result intended to be imposed on Israel and Lebanon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Levin criticized the very idea of \u200b\u200bAmerican pressure on Israel. "Have we ever forced a democratic ally to endanger its citizens to support a terrorist organization that murdered Americans?"\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Levin described the move as "a disgrace" and added that instead of standing by Israel, the United States "slanders Israel for refusing to abandon its security.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Levin also attacked the involvement of Qatar and Pakistan in the talks. "Why the hell are Qatar and Pakistan the main mediators? These are corrupt, cruel regimes with ties to terrorism, with ties to Iran and hatred of Israel. It's just crazy.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added, claiming: "This is much worse than Obama's nuclear deal. I can't think of a precedent in American history for such a preposterous move.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Levin called on Israel to reject any such arrangement. "Israel must reject it completely - for its own security and for ours," he wrote. "Qatar and Pakistan are doing a better job of representing Iran's interests than we are doing in supporting our ally.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He wondered how Republican members of Congress would react to the move. "There's no way this is going to escape criticism. Something stinks to hell here.". <\/p>\n\n\n\n
