The IDF attacked over 80 terrorist targets and eliminated dozens of terrorists. Later, this morning, the IDF attacked Hezbollah headquarters in the Bekaa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This morning I held a situation assessment with the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff. My instructions are clear: Israel will not tolerate attacks on our soldiers or our territory, and it will exact a very heavy price from Hezbollah for these attacks. The IDF will act to thwart any threat to our forces and territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dor was a brave, determined and dedicated commander, who held senior positions in the northern sector during the campaign and led his fighters on the battlefield against our enemies. Their fall is a heavy loss to the IDF, the security establishment and the entire State of Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On behalf of the entire defense establishment, I send my heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen, and I strengthen the wounded and their comrades in arms who continue the mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The IDF attacked over 80 targets and eliminated dozens of terrorists in the Hezbollah stronghold in the Waqf and the Nabatia region in southern Lebanon, in response to the shooting and harming of IDF soldiers, and is continuing its activities even now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will not allow harm to our soldiers and civilians, and any violation of the ceasefire by Hezbollah will be met with great force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
