United States Vice President J.D. Vance defended President Donald Trump's policy last night (Wednesday), and sharply attacked critics of the Iran nuclear deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interview he gave to former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, Vance rejected the claims made in recent days by media figures and influencers affiliated with the American and Israeli right - and accused them of quoting Iranian propaganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the critics he addressed was conservative radio host Mark Levin, who demanded that the details of the agreement be disclosed to the public and brought before Congress for approval. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kelly also mentioned media figure Yinon Magal, whom she described as being affiliated with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after he called Vance "scum" and Trump a "loser" in a post he published on the X network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When asked about the criticism directed at him, Vance responded with a scathing response: "I wonder why they call it the 'Vance Agreement' and not the 'Trump Agreement.'".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He then intensified his tone, saying that opponents of the agreement were choosing to believe the Iranian version of events when it came to the new understandings. "If you find yourself embracing Iranian propaganda only when it's related to this agreement, maybe you should re-examine your sources of information," he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the critics offer no practical alternative to the agreement and are in effect promoting a continuation of the conflict without a clear goal. "They want the conflict to continue until the last bomb is dropped or until the last Iranian dies. That is not what the president of the United States wants," he explained of the disgraceful agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vance claimed that Trump had achieved the main goals he set when the campaign against Iran began, including damaging the nuclear program, weakening Tehran's regional capabilities, and preventing the Iranian regime from obtaining nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that the return of oil prices to relatively low levels after the increase recorded with the outbreak of the conflict is further evidence of the success of the move and the reduction of economic pressure on the American public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
