But there is no doubt that the army needs more fighters today, and that's why it is taking it more seriously today, is willing to invest more, and not just because the political echelon is pressuring them, but because it also understood the need.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite abstaining during the Oslo Accords, Deri clarified in an interview: "Do I define myself as right-wing? Of course. I was always there at the grassroots level, but I was young and Rabbi Ovadia supported the peace process.
