The monologue of presenter Aryeh Golan continues to resonate: After the criticism leveled at him by journalists affiliated with the right, Kan Corporation reporter Shelly Tapiero also came out with a serious accusation against her workplace, claiming that she does not feel comfortable expressing her views, lest she be retaliated against.

In a post published by the 'Kan News' legal reporter on her X-network account, she wrote: "Last night my soul wandered in the face of the storm surrounding my workplace at the public broadcasting corporation. I am torn between the desire to be faithful to the truth, to the public, and to what has been happening for too long, and the fear that I will be harmed.".

""And how is it that in a free and democratic country I, as a journalist, as a mother and as a woman, am afraid to speak my mind, and I already know that even silence has a price.".

Golan caused a stir after responding to Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's comments in an interview that "the October 7 massacre is a terrible and terrible failure, but it is a tactical failure. Whoever knowingly sold the State of Israel to its enemies and the Islamic movement did something 1,000 times worse than the most terrible failure possible, because it is not a malicious act.".

Golan said in his monologue: "Mr. Smotrich, with your hand on your heart - if you have such an organ in your body - let's say that instead of the hundreds of kibbutzniks who were massacred on October 7 in the western Negev, hundreds of settlers were massacred - God forbid, God forbid - in the territories of Judea and Samaria. Even then, would you dwarf this terrible massacre into a tactical blunder?""

Among the first to respond to the comments was Kalman Libeskind, who hosts a regular program on Channel 2: "It's seven o'clock. Another morning when Israeli citizens are entitled to ask why they need public propaganda broadcasts.".

Amit Segal also exploded at the presenter: "When the corporation was established, I was really in favor of it, and I fought for it to be established. I think I was wrong and came out a sucker.".

[93
35341,65087,13648
post-1050276","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-93","tag-35341","tag-65087","tag-13648
