Attempt to violate procedures at the Western Wall plaza: Thousands of worshippers arrived this morning (Thursday) at the remains of our temple, starting with the hawk prayer on the eve of Rosh Chodesh Iyar. In the documentation released from the incident, it appears that the smuggling attempt was carried out using an elderly, disabled woman using a walker, with the understanding that her security checks would be less strict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Western Wall Heritage Foundation emphasized that, beyond violating procedures, this is a cynical exploitation of the disabled public for the purpose of creating a media provocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Western Wall Heritage Foundation stated: "This morning, a very small group from the Women of the Wall organization acted contrary to the High Court's decision allowing them to arrive on 11 lunar months - and appeared on the Western Wall plaza in blatant violation of the procedures used on the Western Wall plaza, and even attempted to bring a Torah scroll into the Western Wall plaza while cynically exploiting an elderly woman using a walker - which constitutes a serious violation of the sanctity of the place and the respect of the Torah scroll, in an attempt to create provocation and cynically exploit the disabled public.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
