Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir toured southern Lebanon today (Thursday) and conducted a situation assessment on the outskirts of Bint Jbeil. He then approved plans for the future with the command commanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The visit was attended by the Commander of the Northern Command, Major General Rafi Milo, the Head of the Technology and Logistics Division, Major General Rami Abudraham, the Commander of the 98th Division, Brigadier General Guy Levy, the Commander of the Givati \u200b\u200bBrigade, Colonel N., and other commanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chief of Staff expressed his appreciation to the 98th Division and the Givati \u200b\u200bBrigade for the professionalism and determination with which the division and brigade operate on the battlefield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After his visit, the Chief of Staff met and spoke with the head of the Upper Galilee Council, Assaf Langelvan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zamir: "The IDF is at war. We continue to fight against the terrorist organization Hezbollah with great force. Yesterday we entered into a ceasefire in Iran - we are prepared to return to combat in a powerful manner if necessary.".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our main battleground is here in Lebanon. We continue to deepen the maneuver and continue to strike Hezbollah. This is a very powerful operation, our forces are operating on the front lines and in depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
