After the heated confrontation that erupted last night during a cabinet meeting between Settlement and National Missions Minister Orit Struck and Shin Bet chief David Zini was revealed today (Monday), regarding the violent incidents in Judea and Samaria and the security establishment's response to them, Tali Goltiv, a candidate for Otzma Yehudit, launched a sharp attack against the Shin Bet chief this afternoon.
In a post she published on her X account, Gottlieb wrote:
""Shinbak head David Zini, my heart goes out to you. Maybe if, God forbid, my brother were arrested and indicted and he were in danger of a long prison sentence, I would agree to step out of my comfort zone and change my skin for him. But with all due respect, you are the Shinbak head and if they managed to hold you by the throat too, then be brave enough and resign.".
She added: "Your lack of condemnation of Arab terrorism in Judea and Samaria gives me a hard feeling. Your silence regarding the horrific criminal behavior of leftist anarchists against settlers and against soldiers in Judea and Samaria is deafening.".
""Your statement today to Sarah Strok, who demanded that you recognize Arab terrorism in Judea and Samaria - that 'she is disconnected' reminds me of the dark days before the October Inferno.".
She mentioned: "I went out of my way to work for your appointment to this important position. You proved that you are committed to your role when you exposed the criminal MP. But in recent months the Shin Bet has once again been busy reinforcing a false campaign of violence against Jewish settlers, a campaign that harms the country's strength in the world. What happened to you too?""
