Sukkot Eve: Today, crowds accompanied the Kabbalist, the tzaddik Rabbi David Shalom Batzri, zt"l, Rosh Yeshiva 'HaShalom' in Jerusalem, to his resting place, who passed away suddenly at the age of 85.
During the funeral procession, the chief rabbi, Rabbi Yosef, the rabbi Reuven Elbaz, the head of the 'Or Chaim' yeshiva, the rabbi Benyahu Shmueli, the head of 'Nahar Shalom', the kabbalist Rabbi Yaakov Adas, and others paid tribute to him.
The funeral procession left for the Sanhedrin, where he was buried next to his wife, Rebbetzin Tzipora, who passed away on Passover Eve. Due to the holiday, the family members sat in 'sheva' for less than two hours.
