The hospital rankings of the prestigious international magazine Newsweek determine each year which medical centers are the leading in various fields and recommend them to its readers all over the world. This is done after a careful and in-depth examination of all areas of activity, technologies, medical achievements and research.

The World's Best Specialized Hospitals 2027 ranking, which was recently published, examined various medical specializations, with Hadassah impressively noted as a leader in oncology, cardiology, and heart surgery at a global level.

In addition, Hadassah Medical Center, the largest in Jerusalem, was chosen as one of the "smartest" hospitals in the world.

The Newsweek ranking, together with Statista, for smart hospitals examines the use and implementation of robotics, artificial intelligence, innovation, and various developments - such as the digital medical record, which was launched this year at Hadassah and is considered a technological and functional breakthrough.

According to Newsweek, "smart" hospitals use advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, and automation, to continually improve the quality of patient care and streamline work processes. All of these improve the quality and efficiency of care alongside excellent medicine.

The magazine's selection of these rankings at Hadassah has been happening consistently for several years now, and Hadassah expressed great pride and satisfaction in light of the persistence and international recognition they are receiving, especially in light of the stringent accreditation tests (JCI) that the medical center passed with distinction and are considered one of the criteria in compiling the list.
