The police and the General Security Service uncovered the activities of a terrorist cell in the Nablus area, in which two Palestinian terrorists worked to promote terrorist activity, acquire weapons, conduct shooting training, recruit terrorists - and plan murderous attacks, and kidnap a soldier.

The facts of the indictment indicate that the two acted jointly, starting in late 2023, to promote 'military' activity. The terrorists were equipped with a large number of weapons - including M-16, M-4, Kalashnikov, pistols, a shotgun and ammunition.

In addition, they worked to recruit and train additional terrorists, conducting shooting drills and discussing a variety of attack scenarios against Israeli citizens and security forces.

As part of their investigation, it was revealed that in 2024 they had in mind carrying out an attack against the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir.

According to the indictment, after the two watched a video showing the minister arriving at the scene of an attack, one of the terrorists suggested carrying out a “pull attack,” waiting for the minister to arrive at the scene and then assassinating him.

He later suggested using an explosive drone to carry out the assassination and even tried to obtain drone parts from China for the assassination operation.

Their investigation also revealed that the two were involved in promoting plans for murderous attacks using explosive vehicles and drones against Israeli civilians and security forces, along with planning shooting attacks and kidnappings of IDF soldiers.

The two men's detention was extended from time to time in court, and once the evidentiary infrastructure was established, indictments were filed against them by the Samaria Military Prosecutor's Office, along with their detention until the end of the legal proceedings.

Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, responded: "This is the 11th time they have tried to eliminate me, and the Holy One, blessed be He, is saving me from their hands!

""I have a message for all those enemies: This will not deter me or scare me. I will continue to lead a tough policy in prisons, I will continue to lead the policy of demolishing illegal construction in the Negev, and I will continue to make sure that the death penalty law we passed is implemented and enforced.".

""They fear and tremble at the thought of me being the Minister of Defense, because they know very well: I have no compromises and no concessions. What I say - I do.".

""Just last week I visited the prison and met some of those who tried to eliminate me. I saw how they trembled with fear, how they couldn't even look me in the eye. The same terrorists who wanted to scare me - they tremble with fear today.

""Thank God. Thank you to the Shin Bet, the Israel Police, the IDF, and the Magen unit for protecting me. He who believes is not afraid!"
