The investigation revealed that Mustafa - who was greatly influenced by the "Wall Guard" incident and the events of October 7 and the massacre carried out by Hamas - was in the planning stages of carrying out an attack.
The investigation revealed that the terrorist planned to blow up a server farm associated with the technology giant Amdocs - after entering the location as part of his national firefighting service.
At the time of his arrest, he was found in possession of a large amount of training equipment and airsoft weapons.
During his interrogation, it emerged that as part of the planning, he searched his cell phone for combat manuals, and also downloaded and saved manuals for making explosive devices.
It also emerged that he attempted to manufacture explosive devices from various materials and even helped others do so.
At the end of his interrogations by the Shin Bet and the Sharon District Attorney's Office in the Central District, a prosecutor's statement was submitted to the Central District Court in preparation for the filing of an indictment against him.
It was revealed on the i24 channel that this is a young man who served as a firefighter in the national service at a station in central Israel, and is suspected of working to establish a terrorist cell and planning a series of attacks against Israeli targets.
According to the investigation's findings, the suspect took advantage of the high accessibility and in-depth familiarity he acquired in his professional role as a firefighter with strategic sites in central Israel. He marked at least one such sensitive facility as a preferred target for carrying out an attack.
Police and Shin Bet investigators discovered that the young man's connection to the world of terrorism began to develop when he was 16 years old, and has become significantly more radical since the outbreak of the war in the Gaza Strip, when he sought various ways to harm the state's security.
The investigation also revealed that during this period, the suspect established contact with foreign hostile elements, including Hamas terrorists and Iranian intelligence personnel. In these contacts, the suspect obtained combat guides, downloaded instructions for assembling charges from various materials, and even conducted practical attempts to prepare explosives.
In addition, it emerged that the terrorist worked to expand the terrorist infrastructure and summoned two of his acquaintances, also residents of Kafr Qassem, to recruit them into the terrorist cell.
The two were arrested and held in custody for about two weeks, but there was not enough evidence against them to file an indictment.
