The Ministry of Health updated today (Thursday) that a person who returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo a few days ago and developed a fever is suspected of having Ebola.
At this stage, this is only a suspicion, and the test results are expected to be received in the coming days.
Hadassah Medical Center stated: "A patient in good condition suffering from fever symptoms who returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo was admitted to Hadassah Ein Kerem.
He was transferred to Hadassah today with only suspicion of Ebola.
"He is hospitalized separately from the other hospital patients, under strict and complete isolation conditions, in accordance with the Ministry of Health's professional procedures on the subject, and without exposure or contact with patients or visitors.".
