The parties of the 'Left Bloc' signed surplus agreements today (Thursday) ahead of the elections to be held on October 27.

Gadi Eisenkot's left-wing party, Yashar, signed an agreement with Yair Golan's far-left "Democrats" party, and Naftali Bennett's "Together" party signed with the "Yisrael Beiteinu" party led by Avigdor Lieberman.

For Eisenkot, this is a constraint, as his preference was to sign an agreement with Yisrael Beiteinu, but Avigdor Lieberman announced this afternoon that a surplus agreement had been signed between his party and Behad.

The Democrats Party stated: "We welcome the surplus agreement with the Yesh! Party and the cooperation in the entire Change camp. In the upcoming elections, the goal is clear: to prevent the loss of votes, maximize the camp's power, and replace the default government of October 7.".

Religious Zionist Chairman, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, responded to the Eisenkot-Golan surplus agreement: "For many months I have been warning that right-wingers who vote for Gadi Eisenkot will accept Yair Golan as Minister of Defense and a senior partner in his government. Now it has been officially agreed.

"With the signing of the surplus agreement between them, it is clear to everyone that they will establish a dangerous left-wing government, which will dismantle the settlements and farms in Judea and Samaria and establish a Palestinian terrorist state in the heart of Israel, which will close Channel 14 and the Mechina Aale, and will fortify the rule of the legal dictatorship.".

"A true right-winger doesn't get confused, and only votes for religious Zionism and the national camp.".
