Rolled the scooter under the bus: A 7-year-old boy riding a scooter was seriously injured this afternoon (Tuesday) after being hit by a bus on Yigal Alon Street in Bnei Brak.

Rescue forces called to the scene provided the child with medical treatment and he was evacuated in serious condition, with multiple systemic injuries, for further treatment at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.

Senior rescue paramedic Emmanuel Adler: "When I arrived at the scene of the traffic accident with my MDA ambulance, I found a scooter rider, a 7-year-old boy suffering from multiple system injuries after being hit by a bus. We provided him with initial medical treatment, including immobilization and dressings, and connected him to an MDA intensive care unit that evacuated him in moderate condition to continue receiving medical treatment in the trauma room at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.".

Yaakov Malka, Nehorai Kalfon and Avishai Salzman, United Hatzalah paramedics who arrived first at the scene, said: "We were informed at the scene that he was hit by a bus while riding his scooter. We provided him with medical treatment at the scene, which included stopping the bleeding, immobilizing him and applying bandages, and he was taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, suffering from multiple injuries and his condition is described as serious.".

The family requests a prayer for the complete recovery of the child Aharon Yehuda Leib, son of Miriam Tzerla, who was transferred to the operating room.
