According to a report in 'Kan News', the actual results published tonight (Monday) indicate that the party will hold 39 seats in parliament - the same number as all the other parties combined, which together received about 441% of the votes.

The second largest party, the CDU, received 17.21% of the votes, which translates into 15 seats, the Social Democrats with 9.31%, which is 8 seats. The Greens also received 8.91% of the votes, and the left-wing party, the Linke, received 8.61% of the votes.

The party that will decide who will form the government is the Sahara and Genknacht (BSW) party with 5 seats, after narrowly crossing the 5.31% threshold.

Last night, on the election broadcasts, the BSW representative - in a joint interview with AfD chairwoman Alice Weidel - announced the party's willingness to cooperate with the far right.

Israel's ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, commented on the rise of extremist parties on both sides of the country's political map: "I am concerned about Jewish life here, which is under real threat. The far-right AfD party is breaking records in support at the polls, and the far-left Linke party is distributing incitement materials in the heart of Berlin calling for violence against Jews and Israelis under the guise of 'legitimate political discourse.' This is a real alarm. Actions are needed, not just talk, against the wild incitement against Jews.".
