Ahead of the holidays: Wizz Air increases the number of weekly flights - and resumes operation on 5 additional routes

The low-cost airline Wizz Air announced today (Tuesday) that it is expanding its operations in Israel.

The company will resume operations on five routes and increase the frequency of flights to 11 more destinations.

The airline's flights to and from Israel were suspended several times over the past year, particularly in the shadow of the war with Iran.

The new lines that entered operation in Israel this week:

Catania (4 weekly flights)
London Gatwick (5 weekly flights)
Venice (3 weekly flights)
Cluj (2 weekly flights)
Iasi (2 weekly flights)

The routes on which the frequency of weekly flights will be increased:

Budapest – from 14 to 21
Bratislava – from 5 to 7
Rome – from 12 to 14
Milan - from 7 to 14
Naples – from 5 to 7
Bookstore – from 11 to 14
Sofia – from 6 to 7
Varna – from 2 to 3
Athens – from 5 to 7
Vilnius – from 2 to 4
Warsaw – from 4 to 5
