In the letter, which is being published tonight (Saturday night), the rabbis write: "The Rebbe's holy opinion is known that Chabad Chassidism is not partisan and we have no affiliation with any party. Our concern is to engage in spreading Judaism and its sources abroad and to prepare the world to welcome our righteous Messiah.".
""Therefore, no one is authorized to express an opinion on behalf of Chabad, and anyone who speaks out regarding the elections does not represent the official position of Chabad Hasidism, and these are their opinions only.".
""The official position of Chabad Hasidism is solely in accordance with the court's order.".
The members of the court also further clarify: "A Chabad follower may not serve as a member of Knesset in any party (without written approval from the court).".

The letter also stated: "Chabad Hasidim who work in various parties, as well as those who serve as political activists, do not represent Chabad Hasidism at all and should not use the name of the Rebbe and Chabad in these matters.".
The letter was signed with a call to vote in the elections: "At the same time, the holy opinion of the Rebbe is known about the obligation to vote in the elections, both for oneself and in influencing others, and his instruction to 'vote for the more ultra-Orthodox list according to the word of God' - which will ensure the integrity of the Torah, the integrity of the people, and the integrity of the land, as the Rebbe wishes. And with this we have come to the signatory with a blessing of writing and a good signature.".
