As the Days of Mercy and Forgiveness approach and the opening of the annual "soul atonement" fundraiser of the activist organization "Yad L'Achim," the organization is once again reciting the moving words of the great men of Israel, who over the years have closely monitored the organization's activities, encouraged its activists, and called on the public to be partners in the work of saving souls.

Jewish leaders have repeatedly stated that supporting Yad Laachim is no longer a charitable giving, but rather a direct participation in the enterprise of redeeming captives, rescuing Jews, and dealing daily with spiritual dangers that threaten the souls of Israel.

Maran Rosh HaYeshiva Rabbi Lando, who has accompanied Yad L'Achim's activities for many years, expressed the importance of participating in the fundraiser in clear words: """This is a duty imposed on every Israeli; I will certainly take part in it. It is a great privilege.".

The Maran Rosh HaYeshiva even brought up the long-standing connection to the organization's activities and said: "I have been following the activities for years, since the glory days when the founder, the Harshab Lifshitz, stood his ground and led the entire activity.".

In his words, Maran HaGard Lando blessed those engaged in the holy work and those donating to it: "Do your best, and God will prosper through you. And the donors will certainly be redeemed from every hardship, each and every one of them with what they need.".

He said particularly exciting things. The Rebbe of Sanz About the essence of Yad L'Achim's activities and the great privilege of being a part of them.

The Rebbe expressed himself: ""I don't need the activists to tell me what they do. This is the oldest organization. They are literally taking a lot of money. It's a ransom for many lives.".

The Rebbe then spoke about the spiritual dangers faced by the organization's activists and said: "The people of Israel are suffering from all kinds of painful phenomena of abandonment and assimilation, and they are standing at the gate to fight back from which no one will be turned away.".

The Rebbe added that this is a unique mission that cannot be done by just anyone: "This is not a job that just anyone can do. They invest enormous energy in it, and it is certainly a sacred duty to support this wonderful activity.".

He concluded his remarks with a special greeting to supporters: ""Those who contribute to the redemption of captives will often receive spiritual and material abundance and holy abundance.".

Also the head of the yeshiva The great Rabbi Moshe Hillel Hirsch He testified about his personal connection to the life-saving activity and said that he had been involved in this work since his youth. The yeshiva head described how he participated in the rescue activity during his winter days and said: "We closed the gates and went out to save lives.".

He then addressed those involved in Yad L'Achim activities with an emotional call: ""Continue the activity that we ourselves did in our youth. This is important for the people of Israel - you are our messengers!"".

Yad L'Achim says that the words of the great men of Israel teach about the great responsibility that rests on the entire public to be a partner in activity that does not cease throughout the year.

The organization's activists are engaged in rescuing women and children from difficult situations, accompanying and rehabilitating families, thwarting the activities of mission cults, and in efforts to prevent Jews from distancing themselves from the people of Israel and the Torah of Israel. Often, the activity is carried out away from the public eye, in complex and sensitive cases that require great experience, dedication, and large resources.

The 'Kofr Nefesh' fundraiser, held annually in preparation for the High Holy Days, allows every Jew to take a direct part in this activity and turn charity money and redemption of atonements into a real partnership in saving souls.

As expressed by Maran Grad Lando - ""This is a debt imposed on every Israeli.""And as the Rebbe of Sanz defined it - """It is a ransom for many souls.".

And in the days when everyone seeks to increase their rights in preparation for the Day of Judgment, there is no greater right than saving a soul from Israel and participating in the work of redeeming the captives.

Yad L'Achim calls on the public to join the "Kofer Nefesh" fundraiser, assist in the rescue activity, and respond to the call of the great men of Israel: "Continue the activity - this is important for the people of Israel, you are our emissaries.".
