Degel HaTorah Chairman MK Moshe Gafni began his tours of southern Israel today (Tuesday) with a visit to the residence of Rabbi Aviezer Piltz, a member of the Council of Torah Sages and Rosh Yeshiva Tifrah.
Afterwards, MK Gafni toured the large yeshiva, the kollelim, and the Talmud Torah in the town.
Against the backdrop of rumors of attempts to oust Knesset members from the top of the list - the Gra Piltz congratulated: "Rabbi Gafni, who deals with public needs in faith, may great power be exalted for all that you have done and will continue to do for the people of the Torah and all of Israel. For in every generation, people rise up against us to destroy us, and God, the Blessed, saves us from their hands. Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be discouraged!""
From there, MK Gafni continued to the city of Yeruham, where he toured the Torah and educational institutions together with the mayor, representatives of the Torah Banner, and movement activists in the city.
