Jewish rioters set fire to a mosque in the village of Bazariya in Samaria last night (Tuesday) and sprayed a sign: "Evacuations = chaos, see, you have been warned.".

In addition, they sprayed a threat against the military commentator for Kan News: "Roi Sharon, watch out for the car.".

The police have opened an investigation.

In addition, an inscription was spray-painted against the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee: "Greetings from the terrorists.".

The rioters fled when security forces arrived at the scene.

Kan News said in response: "We strongly condemn the threats that were sprayed in recent hours on the wall of a mosque in Samaria, against Kan News reporter Roy Sharon.

""The attempt to terrorize a journalist for his work will not succeed and will not deter Roy and the Kan News team from continuing to provide reliable and professional reports, including on disturbances in Judea and Samaria. We expect law enforcement authorities to act quickly and decisively to locate those responsible and bring them to justice. Our journalistic work will continue without fear.".

The IDF stated: "The IDF strongly condemns events of this type, including attacks on religious institutions. These events harm the residents of the region and security stability, and divert the attention of the security forces from counterterrorism and defense activities.".
