Using a drone and a lighting bomb: Northern District police and Border Police Northern National Guard fighters arrested two suspects after a chase who escaped on a wild and dangerous drive on northern roads.
On August 28th, during a proactive police operation on Highway 70, at around 2:00 AM, the forces identified a suspicious vehicle driving wildly and dangerously - and chased it.
During the trip, the driver of the vehicle did not respond to the police's calls and even increased his speed until he entered a nearby olive grove - and when they detected additional vehicles coming from another direction, two suspects got out of the vehicle and began fleeing on foot.
During the operation in the dark area, the police used a drone and a light bomb to locate the suspects, who were located within minutes after hiding in a bush and arrested by the forces.
One of the suspects turned out to be an illegal resident of Nablus, a 26-year-old resident of Shechem, without residence permits in Israel, along with his accomplice, a 21-year-old resident of Lakia.
The two were detained for questioning at the police station.
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
