Crime in Bnei Brak: As part of a targeted operational activity by Bnei Brak police, in cooperation with the Yasm (Israeli Special Operations Command) and the Tel Aviv District Animal Control Unit, two suspects were arrested in the Haredi city after a search of their home turned up a loaded gun with ammunition hidden in a sock in a closet.

The two's detention was extended in court until tomorrow.

As part of the fight against serious and organized crime, and in light of the increasing use of weapons among criminal elements, police conducted a targeted raid in the city of Bnei Brak.

As part of the activity, searches were conducted pursuant to judicial warrants in a number of apartments located in the Pardes Katz neighborhood.

During the search, the police located a sock in a closet in a living room, inside which was hidden a loaded gun with ammunition.

In addition, among other things, 10 9mm bullets, 11 security cameras and 3 DVRs were seized.

Meanwhile, two suspects, residents of Bnei Brak, aged 56 and 69, were arrested, and they were taken for questioning at the Bnei Brak police station.

At the end of the investigation, they were brought before the court, which extended their detention.
