The chairman of the 'Amach Yisrael' party, Brigadier General (res.) Ofer Winter, made it clear this evening (Thursday) that his party will recommend Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for prime minister.

The remarks were made after he said he was asked repeatedly whether he was "with Bibi or not with Bibi.".

Winter began by addressing the support his party has received since it was launched. "We are receiving tremendous support and sympathy - many thanks to the people of Israel. And we have only just begun.".

He sought to clarify his attitude towards Netanyahu and the political position of his party: "We do not work for anyone, only for the people of Israel.".

Immediately afterwards, he added: "We are in the right-wing camp. The leader of the right-wing camp is Netanyahu, and we will only recommend him.".

Along with supporting Netanyahu, Winter emphasized that his party intends to maintain its independence. "We will not dance to anyone's tune," he declared.

He also addressed the issue of the recruitment of Haredim and presented a position according to which their integration into the army will move forward even without the consent of the Haredi leadership. "Haredim will be integrated into the IDF, with or without Haredi activists," he said.

Regarding the Gaza Strip, Winter stated that his party would work to promote voluntary immigration. "There will be voluntary immigration from Gaza here, and not just an immigration administration from Gaza.".

Winter also presented his view on security policy, saying that he wants to move from a policy of containment to a policy of resolution. "There will be resolution here, not containment," he declared.

He called for a change in the way Israeli public relations is conducted: "There will be real public relations here for the benefit of the State of Israel, and not just the Ministry of Public Relations. What was will not be.".
