A 33-year-old 'Volt' courier, a resident of Bnei Brak, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of stabbing a bus driver in Ramat Gan last week - and fleeing the scene.
The suspect allegedly stabbed the driver during an argument on the road and slightly injured him.
The driver was taken for medical treatment.
As part of an intensive investigation, which included collecting findings and evidence, investigators were able to trace the suspect's identity.
Yesterday, detectives from the Tel Aviv police station located him and arrested him. He was brought for questioning at the Bnei Brak police station, after which he was imprisoned.
During a search of his belongings, spikes and scissors were located and seized.
Today (Wednesday) he will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a hearing on extending his detention.
