On the morning of August 11, the police received a report of a 7-year-old boy who was attacked by his uncle in a village in the northern region.

Upon receiving the report, Northern District police arrived at the scene and arrested the 43-year-old attacker.

During the investigation, it emerged that the minor lives at home with his mother and uncle. During a family argument in the presence of the uncle, he took the child to the yard of the house where he attacked him by kicking him in the upper body, while the child was lying on the ground. He then picked up the child and threw him into a trash can.

The child was taken for medical treatment following the attack, with numerous injuries on his body.

The attacker's detention was extended from time to time, and on August 24th, the Northern District Attorney's Office submitted an indictment to the Nof HaGalil-Nazareth District Court and a request to detain him until the end of the proceedings, for the offense of assaulting a minor causing serious injury by a responsible person.

In accordance with the court's decision, there is a prohibition on publishing any identifying details of the minor, including his place of residence and, in these circumstances, the details of the accused.
