Preparations for the establishment of the new settlement of Noa: The first trailers arrived this morning (Tuesday) in the area where the settlement will be built, south of Ganim and Kadim.
A new nucleus of families is expected to live there, establishing a new community in the heart of northern Samaria.
Noa is the eighth settlement established by the Samaria Regional Council in less than a year. This is an unprecedented settlement boom led by the council throughout Samaria, centered on establishing new settlements and restoring life to the settlements in northern Samaria that were displaced in the disengagement plan.
The Noa settlement is intended to connect gardens and pots and transform the isolated settlement points in the area into a continuous, established and prosperous settlement bloc. The arrival of the caravans is a key step in preparing the area for the arrival of families and the establishment of a permanent settlement.
The Noa settlement is part of the 'Connection Plan' led by Samaria Council Head Yossi Dagan, in partnership with the Amana movement, to establish 19 new settlements in place of the four settlements that were displaced in northern Samaria as part of the disengagement plan.
The settlements are established in accordance with cabinet decisions, led by Defense Minister Israel Katz and Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
The settlement is expected to be home to a new nucleus of pioneering families, who have formed a community in the last six months and are coming from all over the country.
Samaria Council Head Yossi Dagan welcomed the arrival of the caravans: "This is an exciting and historic morning. In less than a year, we are establishing eight new settlements in Samaria. After completing the return to Homesh, Sha Nur, Ganim and Kadim, we are moving forward. Instead of four settlements that were displaced, we are building 19 settlements. Instead of the disengagement plan, the people of Israel are bringing the reunification plan.".
Dagan added: "The Noa settlement will connect gardens to pots, strengthen the area and transform the renewed settlements into a large, continuous and established settlement bloc. What seemed like a dream for years is becoming a reality before our eyes. We are bringing life back to northern Samaria and building a future here for hundreds and thousands of families.".
Dagan thanked the partners in the process: "I would like to thank the Amana movement, Zeev Hever Zambish, Defense Minister Israel Katz, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, government ministers, the council teams and everyone who is working day and night to make the vision a reality. Special thanks to the pioneering families of the new nucleus, who are taking on a national and historic mission.".
Hanna Landman, who is expected to immigrate to Noa with her family, said: "The arrival of the first caravans is a moment we have been waiting for with great excitement. Today we see with our own eyes how the vision is becoming a reality. We are coming here to establish a home, build a strong community and be part of the great renewal of northern Samaria. Noa will be a settlement full of life, children and families, which will connect kindergartens with fields and strengthen Jewish settlement and the strategic hold on the entire region.".
