Another significant step in urban renewal in the heart of Jerusalem: The master plan for the Jerusalem Life project on Rabbanu Gershom Street, promoted by the 'Outside Jerusalem' company, has been approved for validity.

The plan completed the deposit period without objections, thus paving the way for the advancement of one of the intriguing projects in the regenerating area of the capital's center.

The project - located at 41 Rabbanu Gershom Street - will be carried out with the outline of demolishing the existing building and constructing a new, modern and well-planned building. In place of the eight existing housing units, a ten-story building with 19 new housing units is expected to be erected, with a design adapted to the latest standards of housing in Jerusalem.

The plan includes approximately 2,000 square meters of residential space, alongside approximately 228 square meters of protected residential spaces. In addition, the building will incorporate commercial space and approximately 170 square meters will be allocated to public buildings, based on a planning concept that seeks to combine high-quality housing with community and commercial services for the benefit of the building's residents and the surrounding area.

The approval of the master plan without objections reflects the quality of the planning and the project's suitability for the existing urban fabric. The project is expected to bring about a significant renewal of the building and its surroundings, while properly utilizing the land, increasing the supply of housing units, and improving the public space in the area.

The project's location on Rabbanu Gershom Street, in a sought-after and accessible Jerusalem neighborhood, gives it special importance. This is a long-standing area that benefits from its proximity to commercial centers, transportation, public institutions, and central neighborhoods in the city, and in recent years has been experiencing a surge of renewal and development.

'Outside Jerusalem' notes that the approval of the plan is a major milestone in advancing the project, and that the company will continue to act professionally and decisively in preparation for the next stages, while ensuring quality planning, exercising the rights of apartment owners, and creating an advanced residential environment in the heart of Jerusalem.

The Rabbanu Gershom project joins a series of initiatives promoted by 'Outside Jerusalem' in the capital, as part of a broad vision for responsible urban renewal, connecting the unique character of Jerusalem with the residential and community needs of the next generation.

CEO of Hotuzot Yerushalayim, Yaakov Zweibel: "Approval of the urban planning for the Rabbanu Gershom project is another significant step in our work to revitalize Jerusalem. The fact that the plan completed the deposit process without objections testifies to the precise planning and professional work that was invested in it along the way. For us, urban renewal is much more than constructing a new building; it is a responsibility to create a high-quality and advanced living environment, while preserving the unique character of Jerusalem and providing a real response to apartment owners and the needs of the neighborhood.".

Director of Tenant Relations at 'Hutzot Yerushalayim', Yossi Schwartz: "Our reaching 100% signatures in this project, as we also see in other projects of the company, is not self-evident. This is a complete and moving expression of trust from the apartment owners in the shared path and the quality of our work, and we are proud to walk hand in hand with them all the way until the vision is realized and the planning becomes a reality."'
