The young man Israel Gohfi, a student at the 'Kfar Hasidim' yeshiva, was arrested today (Sunday) in Haifa and handed over to the military police.

A 19-year-old yeshiva student, a resident of the Pardes Katz neighborhood in Bnei Brak, who was on his way to the Haredi settlement of Rechsim, was arrested by police in Haifa due to a malfunction with his Rav-Kav card.

According to a statement from the Am Kadosh organization, "the young Torah lifer Yisrael Gohfi, a student at the Beit Midrash Elyon yeshiva in Bnei Brak, was kidnapped and taken to the military prison." The organization is providing him with legal assistance through lawyers, along with support and guidance for his family.

The yeshiva student has so far studied at the Beit Midrash Elyon yeshiva in Bnei Brak, and in preparation for the Elul season, he moved to Kfar Hasidim for reinforcement.

Following his arrest, the 'Herzpnikim', the extremist faction within the 'Flag', announced a demonstration to be held tomorrow at 4:00 PM in the central area.
