In his speech at the conference, Mansour Abbas said: "The State of Palestine is alive and well, and the world recognizes it except for the United States and Israel." Therefore, RAAM is interested in recognition of the State of Palestine and will work to promote peace, reconciliation, and an end to the conflict.
In the political context, Abbas noted that RAAM is turning a new page in its relations with the three other Arab parties, and called on them to sign an agreement for cooperation, coordination, division of roles, a surplus agreement, and a charter of honor, which will establish a responsible partnership before and after the elections.
According to him, RAAM turned the question of an Arab party's partnership in the coalition into a political fact that is being seriously discussed.
He emphasized: "The list's position on the issue of government is clear, and it is to replace this fascist and racist government with a government of change in which we will be partners. We want to be the complementary bloc that will ensure the fall of the right and its replacement.".
In a recent interview, Abbas said that Israeli Arabs define themselves as "Palestinian Arabs," noting that their demands in the national sphere may include territorial autonomy, cultural autonomy, status for the Arabic language, and land rights.
Abbas added that this will be the last election campaign in which he will run for a seat in the Knesset, and at the end of the next term he intends to retire and make way for the young leadership.
prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu He replied to RAAM Chairman Mansour Abbas: "As long as I am Prime Minister, a Palestinian state controlled by Iran will not be established - not in Gaza, nor in Judea and Samaria. Period.".
He attacked: "The price of the left-wing coalition with the Muslim Brotherhood has been exposed again. These are the partners of Eisenkot, Lieberman and Tropper, who boycott Likud voters but welcome Tibi and Balad supporters.".
Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir Attacked Abbas: "Listen to Mansour, Gadi's friend, Naftol and Yair, at the RAAM conference: 'The state of Palestine exists.'".
""This is his plan for the next government. To establish a terrorist state and restore all the conditions that I revoked for his friends in prison. This must not happen. We cannot let this happen!""
Chairman of the left-wing party 'Yashar', Gadi Eisenkot, The one who seeks to cooperate with the Arab parties responded: "There is no Palestinian state, and in the government we establish, there will be no Palestinian state.".
Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich' Called on Eisenkot to clarify his position regarding construction in the E1 area.
""Gadi, leave you with slogans and disguises. There is one very simple test and for some reason you have been filling your mouth with water in recent days in the face of the flood of condemnations and threats from European countries. What is your position on the construction that I approved in the E1 area?
""It's very simple: Those who oppose construction in E1 want to establish a Palestinian state and therefore demand to maintain the Arab continuity from south to north. Those who support construction in E1 want to eliminate the idea of dividing the country, connect Ma'ale Adumim to Jerusalem and take the 'two-state solution' off the agenda. What is your position, Gadi? Do you support the construction that I approved in the E1 area? Do you commit not to stop the construction between Ma'ale Adumim and Jerusalem?".
From a forum “Choosing life” The bereaved families and victims of terrorism responded to Mansour Abbas's statement: "Mansour Abbas is once again saying in a clear voice what we have been warning against for years. The investigations we published revealed connections between the RAAM and Islamic Movement associations and Hamas.
""Eisenkot can guarantee that a Palestinian state will not be established, but the question is how he intends to do so when he is willing to lean on those who openly call for its establishment.".
""After October 7, it should be clear: Ra'am and the Islamic Movement cannot be partners or supporters of any government in Israel."”
