
A woman in her 40s, who was 34 weeks into her seventh pregnancy, died following a rare medical complication.
This was announced today (Thursday) by the Soroka Medical Center in Beer Sheva.
The woman went to the hospital due to stomach pains. Following the deterioration of her condition, she was rushed to the operating room.
The fetus was rescued lifeless, and she was transferred to the intensive care unit in serious condition - and sadly died the next day.
Soroka reported the case to the Ministry of Health and it is under investigation.
The hospital said: "We share the family's deep sorrow.".
