Jonathan Roe, a reporter for the i24 channel, and photographer Nadav Abs, were attacked while filming a story about anti-Semitism in Belfast. The incident occurred last week, and the two have since left Ireland and returned to Israel.

The photographer was injured in the head by a glass thrown at him.

During the filming of the article dealing with anti-Semitism in Europe, people were interviewed in a bar complex in the city. At one point, an angry man, who realized that the team was from Israel, interfered with the filming and tried to take the camera equipment. When he was unsuccessful, he interrupted the filming, made obscene gestures at the camera, and the filming was stopped.

The crew tried to calm them down and move away from the scene, but the attacker approached the photographer in a threatening manner. At this point, the two called for help from security at nearby bars. However, the attacker then grabbed a large glass of beer and threw it forcefully at the photographer, causing a bloody cut to his head.

The team left the scene, no further medical treatment was required, and the two are in good health.

Jonathan Roe has been extensively covering the growing anti-Semitism in the world in recent months, and has so far filmed special projects on the subject in Spain and New York, which were broadcast on the main edition of the i24 channel, and on the international i24 channels around the world.

This is Roe's third documentary series on the subject, and it will be broadcast in the coming weeks on the main edition of i24 - Channel 15 on the remote.
