Ahead of the Likud primaries: Defense Minister Yisrael Katz 'interrupted' yesterday in the middle of a cabinet meeting, in order to attend the wedding of the son of Kiryat Ata Mayor Yaakov Peretz, who is affiliated with the party.
This was reported this morning (Friday) by political correspondent Michael Shemesh on Channel 13.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wondered: "Where is the Minister of Defense?""
The minister's office responded: "Defense Minister Yisrael Katz held a series of security discussions yesterday for nearly 10 hours at the Defense Ministry and the Prime Minister's Office and does not intend to provide details regarding the security forums in which he participates.".
