The High Court of Justice today (Wednesday) froze the financial transfers that the Knesset Finance Committee decided on yesterday.
The funds were intended for the Haredi and the office of Minister Orit Struck.
""A temporary order is hereby issued suspending the implementation of the budgetary transfers decided upon at the end of that hearing, with the exception of a transfer concerning civil emergency expenses," the judge ruled. Alex Stein.
He said the decision was made "in light of procedural flaws that allegedly occurred in the Finance Committee's discussion.".
He added that the petition will be brought for hearing before a panel of three judges as soon as possible.

Its decision to freeze budgetary transfers that were duly approved by the Finance Committee is a serious violation of democracy and the will of the legislature.".

The High Court's decision comes after yesterday the Knesset Finance Committee approved a series of budgetary transfers totaling about a quarter of a billion NIS to benefit the Haredi education system.
Among the approved sections:
Additional budget for Haredi kindergarten teachers - for the first time since the establishment of the state, all Haredi kindergarten teachers will be budgeted according to their years of seniority.
Budget for transportation of students of the 'Independent Education' and the Bnei Yosef network.
Subsidizing after-school programs in exempt and unofficially recognized institutions.
Budgets for Jewish cultural activities, care for dropout youth and youth at risk.
Subsidizing teacher training in seminars and other items for the benefit of educational institutions.
