Up-to-date and personalized medicine, and sometimes also access to innovative treatments that are at the forefront of global medicine.
This activity allows patients to benefit from "It is clear today that optimal treatment of oncological diseases in the field of gynecology does not consist of a single medical procedure," adds Prof. Perry. "A complete package is required that includes experts from various fields, personalized treatment, and close support for the patient throughout the entire process.".
The recognition means that doctors from Israel and other countries will now be able to come to Hadassah for advanced training in the field, as part of a program recognized by ESGO.
During the training, doctors are exposed to complex cases, innovative treatments, multidisciplinary teamwork and high-level research activities. "Training the next generation is an integral part of our mission," says Prof. Perry. "We are not only treating today's patients, but also investing in doctors who will treat tomorrow's patients." Hadassah Medical Center sees this recognition as an achievement of national importance. Beyond honoring the department itself, it is an international expression of confidence in the level of medicine, research and training in Israel.
""Behind the recognition stands hard work, a deep commitment to patients, and the collaboration of many teams," concludes Prof. Perry. "Ultimately, true success is measured by our ability to provide women dealing with complex illnesses with the best possible care, while continuing to lead the field forward.".
